Not all fabric surveys are carried out on traditionally constructed and detailed buildings.

This building is a category A listed, 1930s, rendered brick, block of flats in West Edinburgh. The building has a flat roof which is in a poor state of repair with ponding , the paint is  cracked in multiple areas and balcony copes have also failed.

The residents appointed us to carry out a fabric repairs survey and prepare a costed fabric repairs package for the building to set out a prioritised plan for the immediate repairs and long term plan for the building, lowering maintenance burdens and creating spaces for future energy efficiency upgrades which formed part of the exercise.
